Get to know turquoise even better: Turquoise colour – a refreshing shade for creative people. See what turquoise means and discover its significance
What colours go with turquoise? Turquoise shades - selecting colours depending on the shade of this hue
A light turquoise colour is closer to pastel shades, while a distinct dark turquoise colour requires bolder colours. What to combine turquoise with depends on its shade. Turquoise green will have more of a green addition, while blue turquoise is dominated by blue pigment. The character of the colour will therefore dominate the clothes we choose for outfits featuring it. Turquoise is indeed non-uniform, similar to the blue, illuminated depths of lakes and seas.
Turquoise - what to combine it with in outfits

Since turquoise is a combination of green and blue, it can certainly, without a moment's hesitation, be combined with these colours. This is a successful and interesting pairing that works perfectly together, especially for holiday outfits. See which colour can be added to turquoise without worry:
- Turquoise with grey – this combination will be toned down and successful. Turquoise goes very well with basic colours and creates a harmonious combination with them. Combine it with white and a summer outfit is ready, the same can be done with grey. A combination with navy blue or black will be a good idea for business purposes, where black will calm down the whole outfit. Beige or ecru will also work well.
- Celadon and turquoise – this colour will also combine well with turquoise green. They lie close to each other on the colour wheel and can create coherent outfits together. A combination with blue will look equally good. Mint colour and turquoise can be combined on a similar principle. The combination of azure and turquoise colours can also be placed in the same group. Combining analogous colours, i.e. those that are next to each other on the colour wheel, is a good solution for people who don't want to risk overly bold outfits. These are fresh, interesting sets.
- Pink and turquoise – such a combination will also look great. It's worth trying powder pink with light turquoise, and pairing a vivid shade with intense pink.
- Yellow, orange with turquoise – this is a suggestion for the bold, but quite interesting. They will create a vivid and original outfit that will certainly attract attention.

Although turquoise green is mainly associated with holidays, carefreeness, calm and the vastness of oceans, it will be good for creating outfits at any time of year. Perfect for holidays, as turquoise nicely highlights a tan and completes holiday outfits. At other times, it will remind us of warm days and bring freshness to cooler, grey months. What colour to combine turquoise with depends on preference, but many of the matching colours can be found in your own wardrobe. Pink clothing, lime clothes or light blue models will nicely complement turquoise outfits. As will universal white or black, which everyone has.
