My 5-year-old wears these leggings to preschool almost in shifts. First of all, the elastic waistband is soft - it doesn't put pressure on the tummy, but also doesn't slip off when jumping. The material is springy, so the knees do not bulge out after one day of wearing, and after washing and tumble drying the leggings do not shrink or twist at the seams. The colors (we have dirty pink and lilac and now mint) do not fade at all. My daughter is happy to wear them herself, because they don't squish her anywhere. I will definitely buy more colors
