It shouldn't be too cold, too warm, but it must be comfortable. Parents sometimes find it hard to judge whether their child is dressed appropriately for the weather conditions. We give tips on how to dress children aged 0 to 2, so it's suited to the weather, comfortable and fashionable!

The biggest challenge can be dressing a small child during transitional periods. We struggle with this both at the start of spring and now, in autumn, when, for example, a cold and rainy morning is followed by sunshine in the afternoon. In such periods, the best trick ever devised is layered dressing, the so-called onion method. Thanks to a well-thought-out styling, in which we remove or add further layers of perfectly matching clothes for the child, we ensure not only thermal comfort for the little one. We also emphasise their individual style, which is worth nurturing from the very first moments of life. 

Because dressing in layers lets you use several colourful layers, either matching or contrasting with each other, giving a truly original effect. For example, navy blue sweatpants can be paired with a light blue T-shirt and a grey sweatshirt. This method can, and even should, also be used when dressing babies. While in summer they may spend most of their time in a short-sleeved bodysuit, in autumn and winter, as a second layer over bodysuits, a soft romper suit works great. Such a cotton set is especially useful during the baby's active time or as a comfortable footed pyjama. 

It should be noted that children's clothing, especially for the youngest ones, should have various features that maximally meet the needs of little ones and the expectations of parents. While an energetic two-year-old will feel great in a hoodie, for a baby we strongly recommend a bomber sweatshirt. Without a bulky hood, but with front buttons that are easy to undo to change the little one. Comfort and functionality are what matter.
