• Gold – the colour gold symbolises divinity and wealth. It refers to the Star of Bethlehem and the gifts from the Three Kings. It represents the symbolic sacred and the divine space. Brightness is contrasted with darkness and evil, and Christmas is a symbolic victory of light over darkness.
