This Cookie Policy, which is an extension of the Online Shop's Privacy Policy, addresses detailed issues regarding our use of cookies, pixel codes and the implementation of other internet technologies, as well as the processing of personal data through them.

1. Does our Website use cookies?

Yes, our Website, like most websites, uses cookies. The Cookie Policy applies both to Customers of the Online Shop and to Visitors to the Online Shop, i.e. users who browse the content of the Shop but do not make purchases. The Policy also applies to a Guest, i.e. a Visitor who is not a registered Customer but makes purchases in our Shop without registering an account.

The Website also uses functionalities similar to cookies. Accordingly, the following provisions of the Cookie Policy should be applied to these technologies as well, where relevant.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are IT data, in particular small text files, stored on users' end devices, e.g. on a computer, tablet or mobile phone, which can be read by our IT system (own cookies) or the IT system of third parties (third-party cookies). These files allow the user's device to be recognised and the website to be displayed accordingly, adapted to their individual preferences; they enable the website to be displayed in the language "remembered" by these files, as well as the use of other Website settings selected by the user. "Cookies" usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.

A pixel is a piece of software code that allows tracking of Website Visitors and their behaviour on websites where pixels have been placed. This can range from basic tracking of whether a person has visited the Website, to detailed tracking of actions such as adding a product to the basket, selecting a product, submitting a form, etc. A pixel may transmit the collected information to a third party, i.e. the code provider.

3. For what purposes do we use cookies?

We use the cookies and other internet technologies we apply for:

1. ensuring the functioning, security and reliability of our Website;

2. adapting the content of the Website to the preferences of the Customer or Visitor and optimising the use of the Website. These files make it possible to save the user's choices regarding language, browser, settings for selected elements of the Website, or opting out of profiled advertising, as well as saving information about the user's location;

3. facilitating login to the Customer Account;

4. analysis and creation of statistics that help understand how Website Visitors use its functionalities, which allows us to improve its structure and content;

5. advertising purposes (including remarketing, retargeting) and connecting with social media, displaying behavioural advertising using the Google Ads tool, aimed at providing Visitors and Customers with advertising content tailored to their interests or profiles; they may also be used to display advertisements outside the pages of the Website (also using so-called third-party cookies), i.e. at our advertising partners. Our aim is to develop an advertising offer that is attractive and beneficial for our recipients, therefore, as part of behavioural advertising, the Customer and Visitor may primarily see information about products or services they have already viewed or checked on our Website.

4. Are personal data processed within the framework of cookies?

Yes, selected cookies may, in certain situations, process your personal data. The processing of personal data originating from cookies or similar technologies on our Website takes place for the purposes of ensuring the functioning of the Website, adapting the Website to the preferences of the Visitor and Customer, or for analytical purposes. The processing is based on our legitimate interest. We would like to point out that the legal basis for processing personal data for advertising and statistical purposes will always be your additional and explicit consent, expressed by making a choice and ticking the checkbox during the process of consenting to cookies.

When a Visitor or Customer uses the Online Shop, cookies are used to identify their browser or device – cookies collect various types of information, which generally does not constitute personal data. However, some information, depending on its content and how it is used, may be linked to a specific person – attributing certain behaviours to a specific Visitor or Customer, e.g. by linking them to data provided during Account registration in the Online Shop or a specific email address – and thus be considered personal data.

5. If cookies process personal data, does the Privacy Policy apply then?

Yes, with regard to information collected by cookies that may be linked to a specific person, the provisions of the Online Shop's Privacy Policy relating to personal data shall apply, in particular those concerning the rights of the data subject.

6. Do I have to consent to the use of cookies?

During your first visit to our Website, you are shown information about our use of cookies. You may agree to them or not. If you do not agree to our use of cookies, we will only use essential, technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. 9. Are cookies harmful?

The cookies we use are not harmful either to the Visitor and Customer or to the computer, mobile phone or end device used by them, therefore we recommend not disabling their handling in browsers.

So-called harmless cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the Website, needed to enable the website's functionalities to work, but their operation has nothing to do with tracking the user. On our Website, we also use so-called research cookies, which we use to track Website Visitors; however, these do not include information that would allow (without other data) the identification of a specific user. In certain situations, we use profiling, which is described in more detail in point 12.

We use own cookies (first party cookies) to ensure the proper functioning of the Website. Our cookies are intended to make it easier for you to use our Website, in particular the functionalities of the Shop.

11. Do we use third-party cookies?

Yes. In order to optimise its functioning, our Website also uses third-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies for analytical and statistical purposes. Cookies also allow us to tailor advertising and marketing content to your preferences. Cookies also serve to increase the usability and personalisation of the Online Shop's content.

12. Do we use profiling?

Yes. Thanks to the cookies used in the Online Shop, it is possible for the Controller to learn about the Visitor's preferences – e.g. by analysing how often they visit the Online Shop and whether and what products they buy. Profiling relates in particular to logged-in persons, i.e. Customers. Analysing behaviour on the Internet helps us better understand your habits and expectations and adapt to your needs and interests.

Based on cookies, the Controller also uses technology that allows advertising messages to reach Visitors who have previously visited the Online Shop, while they use other websites, using the Google Ads tool.

13. What specific cookies, pixels and IT tools do we use?

Google Analytics. We use the Google Analytics tool, provided by Google Ireland Limited (registered under number: 368047) with its registered office at: Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to create statistics and analyses in order to improve the operation of the Website. Google Analytics automatically collects information about the use of our Website. Importantly, we have IP anonymisation enabled. Therefore, Google does not receive from us personal data that could be based on an IP address combined with other data about Visitors or Customers. Within Google Analytics, we collect demographic data and data about interests. The collected information, which does not, however, constitute personal data, is most often transferred to Google's server in the USA and stored there.

Google Ads – ad personalisation. We use the Google Ads tool, provided by Google Ireland Limited (registered under number: 368047) with its registered office at: Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. AdSense uses cookies to improve the quality of advertisements. This includes, among other things, targeting advertisements based on products that interest a given user.

Google Tag Manager – we use the Google Tag Manager tool provided by Google Ireland Limited (registered under number: 368047) with its registered office at: Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to manage tags on our website. This enables us to examine how you interact with our website and how your device and browsers respond to it. This allows us to better tailor the content and code of our website.

Within Google Tag Manager, only aggregate data on the tags used, performance and operation of our website's system are collected. This does not include IP addresses or data linked to a specific person. However, the collected data, combined with other data, may lead to their being linked to a specific person.

Facebook – we also use marketing tools and Chat provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). Through these tools, we direct advertisements to you on the group's services, such as Facebook or Instagram. We carry out these activities based on our legitimate interest in the form of marketing our own products.

In order to direct advertisements to you personalised according to your behaviour on our Website, we use the Facebook Pixel, which automatically collects information about your use of our Website in terms of the pages viewed.

We do not transfer personal data. The information collected via the Facebook Pixel is anonymous, i.e. it does not allow us to identify you. It only allows us to obtain information about what actions have been taken on our Website. However, we would like to point out that Facebook may combine this information with other information about you, collected through your use of the Facebook service, and use it for its own purposes, including marketing. Currently, the Facebook Pixel also affects data from Instagram. TikTok – we use IT tools provided by TikTok Technology Limited, 2 Cardiff Lane, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, D02 E395, Ireland, in cooperation with TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, 6th Floor, One London Wall, London, EC2Y 5EB, United Kingdom. Thanks to our cooperation with our partner, we can check which products have attracted your interest and suggest similar ones. This also allows us to analyse the effectiveness of our marketing activities.

Hotjar – our Website uses solutions provided by Hotjar Ltd., Level 2, St Julian's Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian's STJ 1000, Malta. Hotjar allows us to analyse the behaviour of users visiting our website. Hotjar compiles information about how users use the website, which is generated using tracking code and cookies, and this information is then transferred and stored on Hotjar's servers. Hotjar's tracking code may collect the following categories of information: the device's IP address (but encoded in a way that prevents user identification), the user's email address and name, the type of device along with its parameters and the type of browser, location (only the name of the country from which the connection was made). We use the collected data to analyse and develop our website. 14. How long do we store cookies containing personal data?

Depending on the type, purpose and legal basis for processing cookies, the storage period for cookies ranges from 1 session to 2 years.

Cookies collected by us containing personal data of a Visitor who is not a Customer will be stored until an objection is raised. The Controller may delete personal data if it has not been used for marketing purposes for 2 years, unless legal provisions require the Controller to process personal data for a longer period.

Some personal data may be stored for longer in case the Visitor has any claims against the Controller, or for the purpose of pursuing claims by the Controller or defending against claims (including those of third parties), for the limitation period specified by law, in particular the Civil Code. In each case, the longer period of personal data storage shall apply.

15. Which social media tools do we use?

Our Website uses plug-ins and other social media tools provided by social networking services such as Facebook and Instagram.

When displaying a Website containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection with the servers of the administrators of the social networking services (service providers). The content of the plug-in is transmitted by the relevant service provider directly to your browser and integrated into the Website. Through this integration, the service providers receive information that your browser has displayed our website, even if you do not have a profile with the relevant service provider or are not currently logged in to it. Such information (together with your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to the server of the relevant service provider and stored there.
